Creating Custom Instrument

Hi,

I would like to create 'Custom Instruments' , calculated based on a provided one.

For instance,
Can I create an instrument for 'USDEUR' from the provided 'EURUSD'?

Reason for this, is that I would like to display all Forex Pairs, and their inverse in the Market Analyzer.

Thanks for your post.

No, there are no supported NinjaScript methods or properties available for creating a custom instrument.

If you need to add a new instrument that exists to NinjaTrader 8, you could certainly do so.

Note that you would need to research which data provider will provide this instrument and information for charting and create a new instrument in the database.

Can i display a parameter from an indicator, as a second column in the Market Analyzer?

Thanks for your notes.

No, you cannot display the indicator's parameters in a second Market Analyzer column as there are no options that allow this.

To see the SMA period, you could view the indicator Column where it states (SMA 14) on 1-Minute data where 14 is the period parameter applied to that indicator column.
