Any body took a crack at this?
A fib that anchors on left side and follows market high, or low, on right side?

Please clarify, as this was posted in the NinjaTrader 7 section of the forums. Are you looking for this "automatic fibonacci" for NinjaTrader 7 or NinjaTrader 8? For the behavior, it sounds like you are looking to have this fibonacci anchored to one spot, then the fibonacci will continue to form and follow the market as the price moves up and down. Is that correct? If not, please provide additional details so I may better understand and assist you.

Yes your description is exactly it.

bull: Anchors to a user defined/ chosen candle low on left side.. and as price develops higher the fib follows the price and anchors to new the new highs, even if price reverses lower.
bear: Anchors to a user defined/ chosen candle high on left side.. and as price develops LOWER the fib follows the price and anchors to new the new LOW even if price reverses higher

No worries; I have moved this thread to the appropriate topic. As for the fibonacci you are looking for, I am not aware of an existing tool that behaves in the way you have described. You could try searching the free User App Share that is publicly available on our NinjaTrader Ecosystem website:

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

• Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK
