Getting position of a scpecific instrument using Add on

Hello,
I have been looking for the syntax to get a specific instrument's current position (number of shares) inside OnBarUpdate. I checked the account class but I cannot find the syntax for it. I expect the input of the syntax to be the Instrument and the output is the number of shares held either short or long. Is there any syntax for that inside OnBarUpdate?

That's a simple thing to do - have you looked at the examples in the help such as https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...s_account.htm? Once you have the Position object as described in this example, you can easily see which security it is a position of: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...8/position.htm.
