Reload Ninjascript internally

im trying to call the F5 hotkey essentially to reload the whole shabang after modifying a property or two,
something like this
ChartControl.OnAutoScaleAndReturnHotKey (sender, e)
which calls the fixed scale hotkey event, but I cant find the event for reloading the entire ninjascript, though I'm know it must exist

You may want to look at https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use...indications-2/ which demonstrates reloading the chart with all of its ninjascript on a user event.

Hello Entwaze,

There is not a exposed method in NinjaScript for that purpose, if you want to call the F5 reload you would have to use a techniqueue like the one that was linked in post 2.

About your description, if you mean changing properties in the Indicators menu, that will reload the indicator once you apply or press OK on that menu so no additional F5 would be needed for that use.

Im updating it from a wpf button that is part of an add on NinjaTrader_Jesse thanks for the script QuantKey_Bruce I should be able to send that F5 key to reinitiate the on bar update loop;

that being said, im realizing in the add on, I will need focus on the indicator, so it would be really great if there was an onevent reload override for the ninjascript base, if you're working in the same script the f5 key trick would probably do it, but its still not internal

okay i got, i just set up an event to trigger the other script and then send the F5 key, thanks Bruce!
