Thanks for your note.

If you would like to prevent the chart bars from being selectable when a certain condition occurs, you could set ChartControl.Properties.AllowSelectionDragging = false; within that condition to prevent the chart bars from being selectable.

You could set ChartControl.Properties.AllowSelectionDragging = true; outside of that condition to allow the chart bars to be selectable again.
