How to provide custom data feed to NinjaTrader

Hello,

I would like to provide a custom data feed into NinjaTrader 8, so that my strategy can subscribe to the data feed (just like one would subscribe to e-Signal or CQG data feed), please advise what protocol and/or API I need to implement to achieve that?
