    OrderType.MIT

    I had the below codes in one of my Order Entry indicators working fine on NT8.0.27.1; but it is now treated/executed as OrderType.Market on NT8.1.1.3;

    "myOrder = myAccount.CreateOrder(Instrument, OrderAction.Buy, OrderType.MIT, OrderEntry.Manual, ........"

    So, is OrderType.MIT not supported on NT8.1.1.3 ?

    Hello Omololu,

    Thank you for your post.

    I was able to successfully place an MIT order on the Sim101 account from an indicator on version 8.1.1.3. I have attached that indicator for your reference. Please test it on your end and see if the order type is MIT when the order is placed during State.Realtime.

    If you are still getting a market order on either indicator (yours or the attached), please answer all of the following questions:
    • Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green in the lower-left corner of the Control Center window.
    • What instrument(s) (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?
    • What Data Series Type have you selected? Example: Tick, Minute, Day
    • What account(s) is this happening on?
    • Do you receive an error on the screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?
    I look forward to your reply.

      I don't see "Sim101" account anymore ... I have only "Simulation" and "Playback".

        I'm connected to "Simulation".
      • What instrument(s) (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?

        I have CL displayed as "CL JUN23" ... this intermittently and sometimes displays as "CL 06-23" (which I'm used to).

        I have a mix - Minute, UniRenko and some Renko variants.
      • What account(s) is this happening on?

        "DEMO......." and which I obtained on registration.
      • Do you receive an error on the screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

        No error on screen or log.

      After some tweaks I got it working.

      Meanwhile, could you please direct me on how to obtain or setup the "Sim101" account on the NT8.1.1.3. I have only the "Playback" and "Simulation" accounts.

        Turn on multi provider mode in Tools -> Options to be able to use Sim101 local simulation.
