Inputs Data for Indicator

Hi,

how to use a Inputs for an indicator that is outside the range of the chart?
For example, I have a 1 minute Chart for the last 5 days with an indicator. I want to add here the same indicator for the 1-minute period as well, but for a few days from the last month.

Thanks for your post.

If there are only 5 days of data being loaded on the chart, you would only be able to access indicator values on those 5 days. To access indicator values from a date farther back than 5 days, you would need to load more days of data on the chart.

For example, to access values 1 month back, you should load 30 or more days of data.

It would be nice to add such a possibility. Simply, not to load a large period on the chart, but to highlight a time interval from the past. For use with indicators.

I have one more question. Why might an error "Could not save indicator. There was an error generating the XML document" occur?
Maybe the reason is drawing ellipses ?

This error typically occurs when something in your script is not serialized properly, such as a user-defined brush. You could reduce your script by commenting out code to find the exact section of code causing the error to occur. If at some point you comment out a section of code and the error stops, the commented-out section of code is likely the cause of the error.
