Using output of Indicator1 as input to Indicator2

I have two question related to using the output(s) of Indicator1 as input(s) to Indicator2.
Is it necessary to somehow explicitly define the outputs of Indicator1 as public, or is this already implicitly inferred?
Do the input(s) of Indicator2 need to be explicitly defined as public, or is it okay for them to be private?

    Hello goodknight777,

    Thanks for your post.

A public Series should be used in the indicator if you would like to access those values when using this indicator inside of another indicator or strategy.

Please see this reference sample demonstrating how to expose indicator values that are not plots so they could be used in another indicator or strategy.

Please let me know if I may assist further.
