Buy Sell Volume with % Instead of Specifc Values

Hello,

I am looking for a way to use the 'Buy Sell Volume" indicator, but instead of the specific values being in the price markers, it shows the percent of the buy and sell. I know the 'Buy Sell Pressure' indicator does this, but it uses a strange format of spikes instead of the simple histogram of the volume indicator. Is there a way to do this, or an indicator that is able to?

I am not certain that I understand what you mean as a percent, what would the volume be a percent of? You wont know how much volume is going to happen ahead of time to know a fixed total to do the math to find a percentage of that total.

The buy sell volume uses two plots which are shown as bars (histogram) so you can compare them easily. You could also plot those values as lines like the volume indicator if you don't like the histogram look. The volume indicator also displays the Bar volume where buy sell volume is showing volume for Ask and Bid.

Take a look at the Buy Sell Pressure indicator. They have a running tally showing (for example) 65/35, or 25/75, the relative percentages of buys and sell coming in at the selected time increment on the chart. I was wondering if it is possible to measure this in a way that displays just like the Buy Sell Volume indicator. The reason I just don't use the Buy Sell Pressure indicator is you cant view it as simple bars, such as the B/S Volume one. It displays in a strange way that I would prefer just seeing the standard red/ green bars as in the B/S Volume indicator.

Hello Adam_B_01,

If you want to display the plots differently on the buy sell pressure you can change the plot style. If you wanted to change the code you can open the file in the NinjaScript editor and right click -> Save as to generate a copy.
