Just to Verify, Get CurrentAskVolume. is that the current volume bought or sold per tick? Is there a way to tell if it was a sell order of a buy order such as buy ask, buy market or buy bid.

Thanks for your post.

GetCurrentAskVolume() will return the current realtime Ask volume.

Using GetCurrentAskVolume() and running the script with Calculate.OnEachTick will return the current Ask volume for each incoming tick.

OnMarketData() could be used to get the Last, Ask, and Bid volume values. See this BuySellVolume indicator that comes default with NinjaTrader to see how to differentiate Ask and Bid volume. To view the script, open a New > NinjaScript Editor window, open the Indicators folder, and double-click on the BuySellVolume indicator.
