Positive or negative opening price of the previous day

I have set the settings to 5 and it is displayed.
However, I have the trading hours set to ose and ose has two sessions (9:00 and 12:30) and it seems to be showing based on the 12:30 session.

How can I make it show based on the first session (9:00)?

I am glad to hear the bar chart displays as expected now. Because you are using IsFirstBarOfSession in your indicator logic, it will be based on the first bar of the session.

The Ose trading hours template you are using has two sessions in a day, which means for the afternoon session there is a new first bar of the session. If the Ose trading hours template is not meeting your needs, you will need to use a different template or create your own. For more information about working with Trading Hours:

Another option would be to adjust your indicator logic. One option might be to keep using IsFirstBarOfSession and then maybe add an additional check for the number of bars since a new trading day:

This could potentially restrict the indicator calculation to only the first bar of the first session of the day.

I have created and applied my own template and was able to get it to display based on the first session (9am).

However, I would like to do it with the other option, so I will try it using the sample code in the link you provided.
