I want to use calculated data to create an indicator similar to a volume panel Can you suggest an example I may use as a reference?

I am not aware of an indicator called volume panel, did you mean volume profile? If so you can view the code for that indicator using the NinjaScript editor.

Of course you do. The indicator is called VOL It's been there since dirt.. It adds a panel to the chart.
