Why is the starting Time offset with the timestamps at the bottom?

    Hello,

I am currently working on an indicator which draws rectangles on the chart, but they are offset with the candles even though the starting time from the rectangle is correct. See the picture for more clarification.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Potatuetata,

You are asking why drawing objects have the anchors fixed to the center of a bar and not inbetween bars?

No. Its okay that they are fixed to the center of a bar, but in the picture i shared you can see, that even if it is fixed to the center of the bar, the rectangle is offset more than one bar to the left. The starting time (in german: "Start Zeit") is set to 00:00 on the 8th of July, but the left most point of the rectangle is drawn even furthe to the left than the 7th of july. I cant wrap my head around the reason, why the drawn rectangle is offset by more than one day, in comparison to the value that is set.

        Hello Potatuetata,

May I test the open source indicator?

        4. Enter a unique name for the file in the value for 'File name:'
        5. Choose a save location -> click Save
        6. Click OK to clear the export location message
By default your exported file will be in the following location:
