Position average price indicator

Hello,

I would like to build a position/instrument break even price indicator that will show the average breakeven price for the current positions including all closed positions. I know how to do this with the documented drawing tools but was wondering if there is a way to clone the existing breakeven line which includes a box showing the current P/L.

Thank you for your post.

There wouldn't be a way to directly clone the position average price line that's shown when you are in a position, no.

For what you're wanting to do, starting with something like this indicator might be a good jumping off point as it displays any unrealized PnL for an instrument, the overall realized PnL for the selected account, and the cash value of the account (if available).

You could look at modifying that to also calculate a breakeven price from the realized + unrealized PnL and draw a line at that point on the chart.
