    fibonacci retracement candle drawing

    Hello!

I was wondering if there was a way for the fibonacci retracement drawing to calculate the absolute top and bottom of a candlestick and use that as the height of the chart.

I have attached a picture to be more clear. In the example I intentionally misdrew a line that shows the top is around 4210 when it is in fact around 4212.

Is there a setting in which it will automatically calculate the top and bottom of each bar if I start and end with those bars?

I have the pro license and features if that helps.

    Thank you for your response.

    Hello litamm89,

    Thank you for your post.

In order to easily draw a Fibonacci retracement on the high of one candle and the low of another, I recommend setting the Snap Mode to Bar and Price. You may select the desired Snap Mode from the Drawing Objects dropdown menu. Bar and Price will set the x- and y-axis of the anchor points to line up with bar intervals, OHLC and indicator values only. I have created a video demonstrating how to enable this Snap Mode then draw a Fibonacci retracement as you described:

World's leading screen capture + recorder from Snagit + Screencast by Techsmith. Capture, edit and share professional-quality content seamlessly.

For more information on the Snap Mode feature:
