Does anyone know how to write logic that will alert a hammer candle stick pattern

Hi AdeptistJune, thanks for posting. The platform has a default "Candlestick Pattern" indicator. It has the logic for a hammer pattern starting on line 313.

When using the candlestick pattern, how would I write the logic to show alerts? Is it true or false statement?

You can use the candlestick indicator itself. Select the pattern you wish and add it to the chart. The indicator will show historically all previous patterns. In addition the indicator provides a hidden plot that is set to 1 when the pattern is detected (otherwise is zero). You can use this in a chart alert and/ or you can use it in the strategy builder or marker analyzer.
