Range bars with min/max volume indicator

I wanted to know if there is an indicator out there that can be used with a range chart to qualify the bars with min/max volume. In other words lets say it is a 10 points range chart, each bar's volume is monitored and if the 10 points ranges is reached before a min volume the bar does not close and continues to build till the min volume set by the user is reached. On the other hand if a max volume set by user is reached even before the 10 points of the range bar is reached the bar closes and a new bar is started.
If there is no indicator such as described above already available, is is possible to make one? If it is possible is it likely an easy project or a more involved project to make it.
    Thank you for you help.

    Hello james79,

    Thanks for your post.

I am not aware of a current indicator that does exactly what you are describing.

That said, you could try using the Equivolume Chart Style on Range bars. The Equivolume Chart Style could be found on the Ecosystem User App Share page linked below.

    Equivolume Chart Style: https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use...e-chart-style/

To import a NinjaScript AddOn, go to Control Center > Tools > Import > NinjaScript AddOn.

Let me know if I may assist further.

Thank you for your response. I downloaded the Equivolume indicator from the link you posted, then used tools, import, addon to import it into Ninja 8 but I can not find it under the indicator list. Where is it?

I tried to import the indicator again and now get an error message that there are programming errors that need to be fixed. How do I do this?

          Hello james79,

          Thanks for your note.

Once the indicator is successfully imported, you would not need to import it a second time.

The EquiVolume script linked in my previous post is a Chart Style, not an Indicator. To change a chart to use the EquiVolume Chart Style, you would use the Chart Style button in the Chart Toolbar to select EquiVolume.

          See this screenshot: https://brandonh-ninjatrader.tinytak...N18xOTgzMTM4MA

As for the error messages, please open a New > NinjaScript Editor window and click the Compile button to run a compile. Then, attach a screenshot of the errors in question so I may accurately assist.
          • To send a screenshot with Windows 10 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.
          • Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save it as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
I look forward to assisting further.

              Hello james79,

              Thanks for your note.

Please open a File Explorer window, navigate to the Documents/NinjaTrader 8/bin/Custom folder, and search for "System.Runtime.Versioning" or "AssemblyAttributes".

Do you see any duplicate files named "System.Runtime.Versioning"? If so, delete the duplicate file and then test compiling again.

See this forum thread for more information about resolving this error: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...out-this-error
