    Hello rmiller863,

That depends on what you mean by changes color based on input, there are many indicators available on the user app share which do things like coloring plots. Here is a link to a search for moving averages that may also include the term color: https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use...verage%20color

If you have a more specific goal for how the color is supposed to change we may be able to make suggestions on what terms to search for.

Im looking for a line on close , that changes colors based on the closes. I do that and gray out the candles and focus on the closes. I really need a colored MA , set at one input.

        Hello rmiller863,

Unfortunately I am not sure how to direct you based on that description.

Most averaging indicators work based on the price input, for example you could apply it to the close series. An example would be a SMA which would be line on close meaning that each bar will show the plot value once it has closed. The value would be the averaged values of the close series.

Color changes would depend on what conditions you are trying to have a color change for, you need to determine that in order to find an item that may be similar to your goal. For example if you wanted to compare that X number of bars had a rising value or a cross above/below some target price. Once you have an idea of what should cause the color change that could help to find terms to search for on the app share.

Its possible that indicators can color bars too, that would be something you would have to determine how that should work also. What condition would be needed to color the bars how you wanted, based on that you could find similar items.

rmiller863 I attached a couple of images. One is a colored SMA 50 and the other is some fancy stuff related to volume. Is this what you are looking for?

Sory foir the delay.. Are you referring to the colored SMA? I have been using it for several months so it seems stable.
The colored volume is still unstable

                  Hello rmiller863,

If you want to color a plot based on its rising or falling conditions, you can download from the NT user apps section and use an indicator called "ColorThePlot" which gives the following description:" This indicator can be used to color the rising and falling conditions of most any other indicators plot when used as the input series to this indicator. ColorThePlot offers the ability to select rising and falling colors, sound alerts, email, alerts, Direction change marking, panel color based on direction, bar coloring based on direction. The indicator also provides two hidden plots that can be used to provide signals to the Market analyzer, the Strategy builder or NS strategies. These hidden plots are "Signal" that provides a +1, 0, or-1 for direction change and "direction" for the current direction, +1 for up, -1 for down.

This means that you would first select the color the plot indicator and within the parameters you would change the input to be the indicator plot to color. You mentioned SMA so after selecting the colortheplot indicator in the "input" field you would select the indicators folder and then select the SMA. Be sure to review the video link in the description to see how it works.

Here is a link to the NT User app indicator: https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use.../colortheplot/
