    is this proper way to check if indicator value is set for this bar or not?

    i want to setup the indicator value only if its not already set. so it this the right way to do it?
    if (!BreakoutLong.IsValidDataPoint(0) && High[0] > High[1])
    {
    Draw.Text(this, RandomString(20), "long breakout", 0, 3, Brushes.Pink);
    BreakoutLong[0] = BREAKOUTLONG;
    }

    Hello junkone,

    Thank you for your post.

    Yes, that would check whether BreakoutLong[0] contains a value already and if not, would set that value.

    Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.
