    Price line for BloodHound

    Hello,

I dont even know what i am asking here, but i would like to know if its possible and hard to do, an indicator like a line that i can plot on my chart at a price, and that like will output a price so i can use on bloodhound? On bloodhound i would target this indicator and would read the price. To use like a crossover. Like a Manual support/resistance line at that price.

Is there anything already out there doing this? Or anyway i can find something or someone to code this?

Thank you so much in advance.

    Hello Madtrade,

    Thank you for your post.

The built in Constant Lines indicator may be what you're looking for. Input a value other than 0 for each/any of the 4 plots, and that will make that value readable as an indicator value from another script, like Bloodhound.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.

      Thank you for your response,

So in that case i would have to write the price number manually which i could do on bloodhound instead, i was wondering if i could draw the line/lines and have that ploted to an indicator, so i can put the indicator on bloodhound which would read the price there.

      Thank you in advance.

Constant lines dont show up on Bloodhound on indicators even.

          Hello Madtrade,

          Thank you for your reply.

I would advise reaching out to Bloodhound as to why that particular indicator isn't available to you in it - as it's a third party product we can't really troubleshoot that.

You could certainly write an indicator that would loop through drawing objects on a chart, find a line, get its anchor values and assign the price associated with those to an indicator plot that could be read by other scripts.

I'm attaching an example of looping through drawing objects to find a manually drawn line below.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.

            Madtrade,
I don't know if you found what your looking for but I found your post looking for something similar.
I use the NT8 indicator 'Current Day OHL' and it's just what I was looking for.
I'm only interested in the 'Open' aspect of that indicator and I will have to use
custom trading hours to vary where the "open" starts from but it'll work for my purposes.
I'm setting up custom trading hours templates for every half hour and I'll change them as needed.
It's not the most elegant way to do what I want but it's easy & free.
Best of all, 'Current Day OHL' ****DOES**** show up in BloodHound.
            Good luck to you, JM
