Extend Line to right on existing indicator

Hello,

I would like to have an optionality for Bollinger to extend x bars into the future. Current Bollinger shows BBands right until last bar's close. That is a problem when I'm using 20 period bollinger band on daily chart. I can't see todays or next days bands.

What is the best way to extend Bollinger? Extention would be based on the close of last bar (taking the price of last close for every new extended bar).

Saw this in the forum, is this example relatable or is there a simpler solution?

Hi mangustas, thanks for posting.

To see the current bar value of the Bollinger set the Calculate setting to OnPriceChange. The future value would need to be predicted in the code in some way and the rendering of the plot would need to be done in the OnRender method to extend it past the current bar. You can use Draw.Ray from the end of each Bollinger value at the ends of each standard deviation and spans out to the right.
