Date parameter default today

I have an indicator with a date parameter which defaults to today.
When I save the workspace, the date is saved too, meaning that on the next day, the date will be yesterday. I need to manually reset the indicator settings to default so it shows today again.
How can I do this automatically that the date parameter is always today, except I manually change it to a specific date?

Hello Bobin,

If you want to overwrite the date value saved or defaulted when the script starts, assign the variable a new value in State.DataLoaded.

We generally recommend using Core.Globals.Now to get the current date and time.
