I've tried to go in and make a copy of the default MACD indicator in Ninjascript and edit it to use DEMA instead of EMA lines but I honestly am very clueless when it comes to this. I feel like it should be fairly simple to do and I'm just missing it. I really appreciate the help.

MACD using DEMA
Hi, I've been trying to figure out how to use Double Exponential Moving Average lines instead of the normal EMA lines used in MACD. Could anyone guide me on the easiest way to make this happen? Im working on a simple MACD strategy to buy/sell depending on the crossover and have the strategy setup and ready to go but I am currently using the normal EMA lines since it is the default and instead would like to use DEMAs.

Hello dmarlin17,
Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!
What specifically do you mean?
You mean the DEMA is greater than the MACD and Less than the Avg or less than the MACD and greater than the Avg?
I am also including a link to a forum post with helpful information about getting started with NinjaScript and C#.
