Compile with debug enabled fails

Hi guys,

I'm getting following error when I enable debugging for indicator. Mentioned file exists on FS. Any ideas?

I have VM Windows 11 running in Parallels, NT8, VS community 2019. Many Thanks



UPDATE: I have to manually delete file, run compile again and it works. Then I need to repeat this process over and over again.

Thank you for your post.

This can occur when trying to run the project from Visual Studio or building from Visual Studio instead of saving and running the compile in the NinjaScript Editor. When using Visual Studio if you do so there's a generated folder that gets created and that's what's causing the error. You should always compile from the Editor and not build the project in VS.

Check in Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > bin > Custom >obj > Debug for a file named AssemblyAttributes.cs. If you find this file, delete the Debug folder and then compile in the NinjaScript editor.

Thanks when I delete the folder it works fine.
