i'm just beginning to learn how to properly code indicators on nt. and creating indicators that will generate useful alerts is probably the most important objective of all.







this window above keeps a detailed log of all the visual pop up alerts that are generated by all the charts one has open.


it is quite useful as one can check at a glance which are the latest alerts that have been generated and for which symbols.



¿does nt have any similar capability? ¿and if so, where can i read on how to create something similar? and, ¿are there any materials one can read that explain how to use visual and sound alerts on nt?

I have moved this thread to our NinjaTrader 8 Indicator Development section of the forums since you mentioned you are wanting to code indicators that use alerts.

The Alert() method could be used to create alerts in a custom NinjaScript.

Alert() generates a visual/audible alert to display in the Alerts Log window (New > Alerts Log).
