Settlement line Indicator from ecosystems

I have imported "Ninjatraders Settlement Lines" from the ecosystems site and It plots a line but not at the 3:15pm Central Time I'm not sure if it's correct or if I'm missing something
Here is a screenshot bellow, I am in Cambodia and the 3:15pm Central Time is the 4:15am candle here

thank you in advance

Hello Christopher Leggit,

Thanks for your post.

The Futures Settlement Lines indicator uses daily bars to find the settlement. Daily bars are based on your data provider and cannot be cut with Trading Hours templates.

I made a new topic a while ago asking how to plot a line based on a specific time candle, the 3:15 candle is the candle i wanted.
I dont quite follow the 3:15 Central time in this indicator if it uses daily bars, it cant specify that time

Hello Christopher Leggit,

Thanks for your note.

After further investigation, I see that the description of the indicator on the User App Share page stating the time 3:15PM is not correct.

The CME US Index Futures session template, (RTH) for example, closes at 5PM EST. This could be seen by navigating to Tools > Trading Hours and viewing the times in the trading hours template.

You could consider reaching out to the developer and request that they submit a change to the description of the indicator so that it states the correct time.

BrandonH - not even accurate. The RTH hours run from 930 - 415 EST. Wherever you got 3pm EST from is beyond me. Also, not sure why you have the US Index Futures RTH template with a 5pm EST close. Just all sorts of inaccurate.

Hello P_Strang3,

Thanks for your note.

That is correct, the RTH trading hours template ends at 5PM EST (3PM MST). I had this confused with my timezone, MST, where I am 2 hours behind EST.

I have edited my previous post to reflect this change.

how to add standard deviations to this addon?
Futures Settlement is the closing price of the contract at the end of the Regular Trading Hours (RTH) Session – 3:15 PM Central Time. This indicator will plot the last two settlement prices. Look at the attached chart image to see how price interacts with the lines. This is version 3 of the same indicator […]

Hello hellboy78,

Thanks for your notes.

This would require adding custom logic to the User App Share indicator so that the indicator draws or plots standard deviation lines along with the settlement lines.

If you want to use plots, the AddPlot() method could be used to add plots to the script and then you could assign your custom logic calculations to the plots.

If you want to draw horizontal lines, you could use the Draw.HorizontalLine() method to draw horizontal lines on the chart at your custom logic calculated values.

AddPlot(): https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...t8/addplot.htm
Draw.HorizontalLine(): https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...zontalline.htm
