    EMA as argument to RSI

    Hello!

    I want to pass a double ema as argument to RSI, instead of High or Low..., but it is not working. The error message stipulates that I have an invalid argument in my RSI.
    I have the following code:

    HTML Code:
    myEMA = EMA(Close, 14)[x];
    myRSI = RSI(myEMA, 14, 3)[x];
    what could be the problem in my code? How can I use myEMA in myRSI?

    Best regards,

    Hi Stanfillirenfro, thanks for posting.

    The line myRSI = RSI(myEMA, 14, 3)[x]; is setting an RSI object to a double type value. You can use the EMA series as the RSI input like this:

    Code:
    //class level variables
    private EMA _EMA;
    private RSI _RSI;

    //OnStateChanged
    else if (State == State.DataLoaded)
    {
        _EMA = EMA(14);
        _RSI = RSI(_EMA, 14, 3);
    }

    //OnBarUpdate
    double x = _RSI[0];
    Best regards,
