slope comparison

Hi,
I'm working with the slope function. How might I compare the slope as of the current bar close to the slope as of the previous bar's close?

for example:

if(

(Slope(SMA(21), 10, 0)) [0] is greater than (Slope(SMA(21), 10, 0)) [1] ;

To evaluate from X to current bar would be Slope(<Series>, X, 0); and X to one bar ago: Slope(<Series>, X, 1); or, to evaluate the same number of bars: Slope(<Series>, X+1, 1);
