creating entry and exit signals from the indicator

i am looking to build some sort of entry and exit signal based off of the following indicator that i can use to creat buy and sell signals.
when the trend goes from red to green i would like to generate a buy signal
and when the trend goes from green to red i would like to generate a sell signal.

i would like to generate the signal to be used from the strategy builder but im not sure how to write the code for it or if i need to make a separate indicator completely

i have tried doing this a few different ways but keep breaking the inidicator or i keep missing the mark of my goal.

Have the indicator set a plot value. This can be used as a signal to a strategy or the market analyzer.
