Custom Arrows Using Drawing Tool

From my indicator , i will add multiple buttons in chart menu. Based on what button i select , i want to draw custom size Arrow on chart using mouse click. I need guidance to implement this on indicator/drawing tool.

Thanks for your post.

To create custom sized arrows on the chart you could download and use the drawing tool "ChartMarkersPlus" which allows for resizing the draw objects of arrows, triangles, squares, dots. The tool also has NS methods you can then call from your code to draw the arrows as you wish.

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

I'm sorry there are no such tutorials for creating advanced topics such as drawing tools.

The existing drawing tools source code can be found in the Ninjascript editor/explorer under the drawing tools folder.

You can use the Ninjascript editor wizard to create a new drawing tool structure to work with. Reference: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...?ns_wizard.htm
