Alert Log check for duplicates

Hi, I set via indicator an alert and would like to determine in advance whether an alert with the same name already exists in the alert log. How do I access the Alert log window via C#?

Alert(news.ID.ToString(), alertPriority, msg, AlertSoundFile, 1, Brushes.Transparent, foregroundBrush);

There would not be a supported way of accessing the Alert Log window to check what alerts have been sent to it, no.

However, I have added a vote for you to a current feature request to allow NinjaScript access to the Alert Log window. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-1643.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.
