    OnMarketData Error out-of-range

    I have the following code:

    if ((marketDataUpdate.MarketDataType == MarketData Type.Last) && (marketDataUpdate.Price >= marketDat aUpdate.Ask))
    {
    if (askVols.Count == 50)
    {
    askVols.RemoveAt(0);
    }
    askVols.Add(marketDataUpdate.Volum e);
    askAvg = GetAvgVolume(askVols);
    }

    Calculate is set to : Calculate.OnEachTick;

    Error : Error on calling 'OnMarketData' method on bar 5571: You are accessing an index with a value that is invalid since it is out-of-range

    Hi Itachi, thanks for posting.

    Please use Visual Studio debugging to find the specific line that is throwing the exception:

    Another good way to debug is to use Print() methods throughout the program to see the data coming from the indicator e.g.

    Print((askVols.Count);
    Print("Removing At 0");
    askVols.RemoveAt(0);
    Print("Adding");
    askVols.Add(marketDataUpdate.Volume);

    Kind regards,
    -ChrisL
