Change the bar color outside of OnBarUpdate?

I want to set the value of the BarBrush outside of OnBarUpdate, for example in a TriggerCustomEvent. Something like:
for (int i = 0; i < bars.Count; i++) {BarBrushes[i] = Brushes.Blue;}

Is this possible?

Solved - should have used BarBrushes.Set(index,color). Thanks!

Hello NicholasJoannette,

BarBrushes can be used in other methods, and TriggerCustomEvent should be used for non-data-driven methods.

However, the <Series>.Set() was for NinjaTrader 7. In NinjaTrader 8, you can directly set the barsAgo index (BarBrushes[5] = Brushes.Blue).
