Get the graphical plots on the chart to update instantly without forcing a refresh/F5 call?

I use TriggerCustomEvent() to change the values in a data series as shown in this article but the plots themselves won't update until a chart drag event occurs or a refresh is forced. Any way to do this? Thanks

The chart will update on the tick.

Alternatively, you can call ForceRefresh().
