how do i create simple text boxes at x,y coordinates

I'd like to create a simple dashboard using a box with text in it. I will change the text and box color depending on what different indicator status is. I tried to figure out Draw.Text and Draw.TextFixed but couldn't figure out how to get them to do what I need.

I want to place a filled text box at certain x,y coordinates on the price chart like in the attached image

can someone point me in the right direction?

You'd need to use custom rendering to create a text box at specific X, Y coordinates.

The following example script from our publicly available User App Share gives a good example of creating a text box with changing information:
