Is it OK to use a plot's dx brush in onrender

Hi,

Quick question. Is it ok to use a plot's DX brush for custom drawing in onrender? Drawing some labels, want them to match a plots color, ~like:

protected override void OnRender(ChartControl chartControl, ChartScale chartScale)
{
     base.OnRender(chartControl, chartScale);
     .......
     RenderTarget.DrawTextLayout(new Vector2(x1, y1 - 5), _TL_ChartLabel_R, Plots[0].BrushDX);
}
