Display DataSeries On Price Chart and In Low Panel Simultaneously?

Hi Folks,

There are multiple data series in my custom indicator. All are shown below the price chart. Now I need to add one data series overlay on the price chart, using the info calculated from those data set below the price chart.

I attached a picture of my custom indicator. I want to draw line 1 tick below those red bars and 1 tick above those blue(yellow color) bars.

In the "Visual" section of the indicator property sheet, selecting "Panel" applies to all dataseries. I didn't find way to select only 1 data set.

Please advise. Thank you!

Hello David,

You will need to add the data series manually in the Data Series window by right-clicking the chart and selecting Data Series.

For any indicators you want to appear in that panel, an separate instance will need to be added and set to the Panel selection of that panel.

Does this mean I can only put all multiple data series of custom indicator displayed either in the low panel or overlay on the price chart, but not both at the same time?

An indicator will have plots that will appear in the same panel.

An indicator cannot add data series to a chart.

You would need to add the data series to the chart manually. Any indicators you want in that panel need to be added to that panel.

You can manually add as many data series or indicators as you would like to a chart or panel.

Internally, in the code, a script can add as many series as you would like, to use for internal calculations.
