Help Normalizing value

Hi all, hope you're doing good, this is the thing, I have two volume sums running and want to merge them into one, but simply adding & dividing by two doesn't work, since their magnitudes are very different,

eg:
Indicator A Sum: 3 million
Indicator B Sum: 100

So the larger number pollutes the result overrepresenting itself, I don't care about the magnitudes, only about their respective shapes (vectors) and basically I want 50/50 representation of their mix together.

The question: Can someone help with a math formula to replace their respective magnitudes, so their magnitudes are "X" while keeping their shapes?, I've looked around the web and tried different things but I'm sure doing something wrong, I'm still getting an overrepresentation of A (the larger value)

Thanks for your post.

I would suggest investigating statistical "z-score" as a way to normalize your data. I am not aware of a specific indicator for this but you may want to do an internet search for a z-score indicator for NinjaTrader8 or if you want to write your own, search for z-score definition.
