Does onBarUpdate get called on added data series or only on chart's data series?

Trying to understand if I add a data series with a smaller candle size than my main charts data series, will OnBarUpdate be called when any bar from any series is closed, or only from the main series?

OnBarUpdate will be run for every series added to the script.
