Folder indicators

Hello,

I have severals indicators that I have created and I would like that these indicators appear in a individual folder that contents them, when I access to the list of avalible indicators. How can I do it?

Thank you for your post.

You are able to place your indicators in their own folder using the NinjaScript Editor (New > NinjaScript Editor). First, open a NinjaScript Editor window. Double-click on the Indicators folder to open it. Then, right-click on the Indicators folder and select 'New Folder' from the menu. Name the new folder and click enter to create the folder. Next, click and drag indicators to this folder if you would like those indicators to reside in that folder.

And when I export my indicators to another customer, does he has the same folder?

Thank you for your note.

The indicator will export with the same folder name that it is contained in. Please note that each indicator will need to be selected individually in the Export window. For example, if we have a folder titled 'MyIndicators' and we have two indicators inside 'MySMA' and 'MyEMA'. If you select only MySMA in the Export window, then your exported file will only contain 'MyIndicators folder > MySMA'. To include both indicators in the folder, you would need to add both indicators to the export window.

I have created my own folder but when I click and drag an indicator to the new folder, It doen't work.

Do you receive an error message after trying to add the indicator to the new folder?
Please provide a brief description explaining what happens when you try adding an indicator to the new folder.
