Movement from last pivot

I'm new, sorry for the elementary question, but I'd like to identify when price has moved some nbr (20 pts for example) in either direction, from the last pivot (a la ttm_scalper alert in tos)

I'm sure there's ton of trend tracking scripts already in the archives, hoping you can point me in the right direction

First, you would need to mark the price you want to calculate from and save it in a variable, then you would do

if(Close[0] > MarkedPrice + TickSize*80) //Price has moved +20 points from marked price.
{
//condition true
}

Hello Tuxstuff215, thanks for your reply.

We do have a default indicator in the platform called "Pivots". This can be used to identify swings on a chart.

Please let me know if I can provide any further information.
