Chart patterns Indicators logic and calculations.

Hello all,I ve been curious about creating an indicators that shows the various chart patterns.I know i wont be the first to do this and there are a lot around.I would be glad if any can share any file with me so i can learn the logic behind the chart pattern calculations.Thanks in anticipation

Hello Icus1, thanks for writing in.

We have a default indicator in the platform called "CandlestickPattern". This would be a good example to base your work on. The indicator can be viewed from New>NinjaScript Editor>Inidicators folder.

I was not able to find any related indicators that search for chart patterns. One good example that demonstrates how to look for a chart pattern would be the TrendLines indicator. A custom script would need to be made to pinpoint specific chart patterns and make them consistently detectable. We have some blog posts from the past that touch on these subjects.
