Unable to type on added TextBox on Toolbar

Hello NT,

I have added a text box to the toolbar as per your examples. However, I have also added a textbox in the toolbar that is editable. However, when trying to type in that text box (update quantity) it does not allow me to change the vaules in the text box and instead defaults to using the charts overlay mechanism (i am going to refer to this as fast switch overlay).

Is there a way to update the values in the text box instead of the overlay (or an example of a numeric updown control)?

Thanks for the post.

That would be expected because the chart has focus and will grab the key events. You can see a sample of using a textbox in a chart in the following link, you will need to use the preview key events to handle the key presses.

You could also look at using a number stepper like the QuantityUpDown control to just click it. You can search for that control on the forums here for some examples if you wanted to go that route.
