add shortcut to indicator

Hi,

Is it possible to include somehow in my script a shortcut on the keyboard to switch a true/false and make it quicker without having to get to the indicator window?

Thanks for your post.

A solution may be to use a button on your chart to change the state of the bool with a click.

I dont think this file is right. When i try to import the file it saying that i already have a newer version which is not true and its trying to overwrite other indicators.

Yes, that is the correct link for the NinjaTrader8 version.

Whenever you get a zipped file to download, if the zipped file includes system indicators, designated by "@"name, like @SMA, it will ask if you want to overwrite the system files with the downloaded files, always click NO because chances are the zipped file is older than the current version and you would not want to replace newer files with older ones, as a general rule. It will then bypass those indicators and install the other files that you don't have.

In this particular case, under strategies, look for the file "LONGSHORTToolbarButtonsB9". which will have the button code.

Yes that's what i did.

That is a lot of script for two miserable buttons.
