    how to change EMA from [dash style]->solid . . . to . . . [dash style]->DashDotDot?

    . . . . . . DashStyleHelper.DashDotDot ? ? ?

    found customer indicator for changing color of EMA line when slope changes . . . any way to also change [dash styel]->solid . . . to . . . [dash style]->DashDotDot also depending on up-slope vs dn-slope ? ? ?

    Thanks for your post.

    No, a plot can only have one dashstyle, just like it can only have one plotstyle and one width for the entire plot.

    If an alternating pattern is needed/desired, an alternative would be to use two separate plots and only plot one or the other at any point to achieve the effect you are looking for. For example:

    if (some condition for dots)
    {
    PlotDots[0] = some value; // where PlotDots would created as a plot with dashstyle dots
    }
    else
    {
    PlotSolid[0] = some value; // where PlotSolid was created as a plot with a dashstyle of solid
    }
