Hello,

I built an indicatgor and i would like to know if there is a way i can prohibit my indicator from working on a volume chart?

Thank you for your post.

To prevent an indicator from being used on a Volume chart, you could use a BarsPeriod check to check if the BarsPeriodType is Volume, followed by calling return. Here is an example of how this may be done.

if (BarsPeriod.BarsPeriodType == BarsPeriodType.Volume)
return;
