change chart primary instrument

is there a way to change the primary instrument of a chart from my indicator?
for example from the indicator every time i click a button i change the instruments from SPY to QQQ

Thanks for your post.

There is not a supported way to do this, but you could consider changing the instrument through the Overlay Instrument Selector with Keyboard.FocusedElement.RaiseEvent. An example indicator that does this can be found below.
