Indicator on time frame A access time frame B

Hi all,

I wrote an indicator and use it on a 5-minute chart. It uses several of my own variables but also accesses existing indicators like MACD - and of course all of them are based on the 5-minute time frame.

Is it possible to access a variable from a different time frame? For example: Can I access the 15-minute MACD figure from my indicator I am using on my 5-minute chart?

Hello P,

You can supply the BarsArray[barsInProgress index], or Closes[barInProgress index], etc, as the input series to an indicator to use for values internally in the script.

You could add a few new plots, and then set the values of these plots to the indicator values using a different time frame.
