Difficulty applying a custom indicator to a Renko chart

Hello there,

I have written an indicator that works well on the one-minute chart. I have developed an interest in using it on a Renko chart; however, trying to do so causes my NT8 session to freeze and crash.

The indicator is essentially calculating some customized moving averages and bar-to-bar slopes.

Would you possibly have ideas what could be causing this? Perhaps it is something to happens to others, too?

Hi catinabag, thanks for your question.

There are Trace files located within Documents\NinjaTrader 8\trace on your hard drive. Look at the latest trace folders. There should be a stack trace generated if NinjaTrader is crashing because of the indicator on Renko bars. Could you share any errors you are seeing in the Trace files as well as some details about your indicator? If you have a reduced example of the indicator I would be happy to test it out.
